Robogals is a student-run organisation that aims to increase female participation in engineering, science and technology. Robogals UQ believes that this is best achieved in a gender balanced environment. We believe that this will give female students the confidence to work in a realistic engineering workplace.

What We Do

School Visits

Our primary activity: university student volunteers visit schools to conduct fun, educational LEGO robotics workshops.

Volunteer Opportunities

For university students, Robogals is a great way to meet new friends and have a positive impact on the next generation.

Competitions

Robogals UQ volunteers provide mentoring for teams in Robocup Junior each year.

Workshops

Our Girls in Robotics days are run during school holidays each year for girls in years 6-12.
